The Tourism Flanders Brussels Agency promotes Flanders as a destination for domestic and non-domestic tourists and business operators. Towards this end, the Tourism Flanders Brussels Agency has information centres established in The Hague, Cologne, Paris, London, Copenhagen, Milan, Vienna, Prague, Barcelona, New York, Tokyo and Beijing.

This agency also provides its backing to the tourist industry in Flanders as a result of: conducting research into tourism and recreational activities, developing new tourist opportunities and ideas, and encouraging quality control in the sector.

The Tourism Flanders Brussels Agency is also tasked with:

  • offering parallel funding for tourist-related investments
  • launching trial schemes
  • organising training for those involved in the tourist industry
  • promoting sustainable forms of tourism.
