Robbrecht & Daem exhibition at the Whitechapel Gallery
From 23th April until 20th June the Whitechapel Gallery organises ‘Pacing through Architecture’, an exhibition dedicated to work by Flemish architects Robbrecht&Daem, responsible for the major remodelling of the gallery in 2009.
London Festival of Architecture
On the occasion of the London Festival of Architecture, Flanders House in London and the Flemish Architecture Institute are organising a series of lectures by Flemish architects. They will present projects that explore The Welcoming City in a wilful and relevant way, as the theme questions architecture’s capacity to transform a city into a pleasant, healthy and contemporary environment.

From the 1st of July up until 31 December you can expect to see Belgium as the head of the European council. The European council is one of the most important divisions of the EU. Each member state has a representative in the council. Every six months a new chairman is chosen who then decides on the agenda of the EU.
