10. Music Gardens Festival – Warsaw

On July 1st the 10th edition of the Music Gardens Festival will start in the Warsaw Royal Castle. This year the Gardens are dedicated to both the Belgian EU Presidency and Frideric Chopin. The program will also focus on culture from Flanders.

The International Organ Music Festival in the Cathedral in Oliwa is one of the oldest organ music festivals in Poland and one of the best known festivals of organ music in the whole world, organized since over 50 years. The 34th edition of the very prestigious fiveyearly flower & plant show will be organised in Ghent from April 17th till 25th. The very succesful flower carpet, which was laid out in front of the Belgian Embassy building on Senatorska in August 2008 inspired Poland to accept the invitation to participate in the Floralies 2010 as Country in the Focus.

On 29th, 30th & 31st August an exquisite flower carpet of 400m² was on display in front of the Belgian Embassy in Warsaw (Senatorska 34). The colour pattern of the 120.000 begonias was arranged according to a design by Belgian landscape architect Marc Shautteet.
