Flanders.be is the official website of the Government of Flanders and, for citizens, a broad gateway to the information of the Government of Flanders. The information on this website is comprehensible, accessible and user-oriented. A number of content-related themes guide you quickly to the information you are looking for.
This website is managed by the « Vlaamse Infolijn » (Flemish Info Line), a division of the Government of Flanders that is also responsible for the operational management of 1700. 1700 is the free information number of the Government of Flanders, formerly known as the « Vlaamse Infolijn ». Apart from the 1700 number, the « Vlaamse Infolijn » manages some other info lines as well, such as « De Lijninfo », the « Kind en Gezin-lijn » and the « Taaltelefoon ».
The « Vlaamse Infolijn » has made efforts to continuously improve the accessibility of this website for all Internet users.
Since 2010 Flanders.be is also accessible to mobile Internet users through m.flanders.be.
Our website is also available in Dutch, French and German. In the foreign languages, only part of the information is available. The pages in foreign languages are managed by the Flemish Department of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the « Vlaamse Infolijn ».
